SPOILER Summary/Synopsis:

Keroro creates the “Shiny Bath” (sparkling clean), but suddenly is resentful of Natsumi getting the first bath. After she rejects his offer to bathe together, Keroro sends her to subspace to change her mind. First is the cola bath. Next is the ghost story on the beach. And finally, a battle with a rock golem in an onsen. Natsumi escapes by following Keroro. However, they find Fuyuki in the bath. Fuyuki invites Keroro to join him, and the two have fun. Natsumi ends the evening by serving chilled watermelon to everyone.

Giroro and Tamama are angry with Keroro for his lack of invasion progress. To defend himself, he asks Mois to produce her diary, knowing she’ll make him look good. She transforms into her Planet Destroyer form and unlocks a giant diary. Her first entry is a romanticized version of how she met Keroro as a kid. When it comes to Keroro’s plans, her diary shows him to be the hero and Giroro tends to be the cause of failure. However, Giroro and Tamama recall things differently. Mois recent entries say nothing, so the diary is a bust to defend him. As such, Keroro returns to building a Gunpla.

Another two stories from Keroro Gunsou Episode 116. Just some mindless fun.

Shiny Bath

One of the amusing things about Keroro Gunsou is Keroro’s sudden obsession with X or Y. As such, we get that with Keroro Gunsou Episode 116 as Keroro suddenly gets obsessed with doing the “shiny bath”. I forgot that in the story, Keroro is supposed to do household chores. So he’s been cleaning the bathroom all along, but never used the bath. And now he wants to be first rather than Natsumi being first.

The humorous aspect is that after Keroro started tormenting Natsumi to get the first bath, I knew that Fuyuki would be in there by the time they got back. And then we get the friendship bath between Fuyuki and Keroro, including Keroro farting in the tub. Too bad it wasn’t done in a more humorous way. I’m actually kinda surprised by this, since this series is a kid’s show.

Hero Worship

The second story of Keroro Gunsou Episode 116 is a typical “Keroro sucks at invading Earth” tale. Since Mois worships her “Ojisama” so much, we got to see some hilarious retakes on older stories from the anime, some of which I vaguely remembered such as their attempt to start a burger empire. And as usual, nothing is resolved.

That said, I don’t remember the specific purpose of the countdown “Pekopon’s Armageddon” other than the obvious. I didn’t feel like looking it up, but if I continue watching this show, all will be revealed.
